Sri Lanka continue on printing money to settle debt
Sri Lanka Central Bank's holding of Treasury Securities reached historically highest level of LKR 884Bn on 30th Dec 2020 and fell back to LKR 738Bn in the first week of 2020. Country has been continue on printing money to settle the short term debts in recent past, on the same time Gov has indicated several SWAP options that is been discussed with India & China to boost the reserves.
