Sri Lanka Stock index fell below the level seen at year start
Sri Lanka stock index fell for the fifth consecutive day by 1.10% and S&P SL fell by 0.62%. ASPI closed at 6,854.32 which is below the close on 4th Jan 2021 (6,894.98). The turnover was LKR 1.3Bn, below the March avg of LKR 1.7Bn, which is the par with the second-highest quarterly avg, turnover in 3Q 2020. The highest was LKR 2.9Bn 4Q 2020. Net Foreign outflow accelerated by another LKR 267Mn today.
