Healthy and steady hydro electricity contribution continues to reduce the cost of power generation for CEB

In July, hydroelectricity's contribution increased to 41% (daily average), up from 38% in the first half (1H) of 2024. In contrast, the share of thermal oil-based electricity decreased from 17% in 1H 2024 to 13% in July. Notably, Non-Conventional Renewable Energy (NCRE) saw a significant rise, jumping from 3.6% (daily average in 1H 2024) to 7.9% in July.
