Net Foreign inflow into CSE recorded first time in 2024

For the first time in 2024, a net foreign inflow was recorded last Friday. Despite a year-to-date net foreign outflow of LKR 3.1 Bn, there's been a gradual improvement in turnover, with it reaching LKR 971 Mn in the last week, compared to LKR 715 Mn in January. This indicates a positive trend in market activity and investor sentiment compared to the turnover of LKR 1.86 Bn in the first two months of 2023.
