Domestic fuel prices up by 5.8% to 9.5% after VAT increase, lower than anticipated price increase

Domestic fuel prices of Sri Lanka were increased after VAT started to effect. Accordingly, a Petrol 92 Octane (LKR 346) has been increased by LKR 20 to LKR 366. Auto Diesel (LKR 329) has been increased by LKR 29 to LKR 358. Kerosene has been reduced by LKR 11, to LKR 236. - CPC

Further, A litre of Lanka Petrol 95 Octane Euro 4 (LKR 426) has been increased by LKR 38, to LKR 464 and A litre of Lanka Super Diesel 4 Star Euro 4 (LKR 434) has been increased by LKR 41 to LKR 475.
