Foreign investment in Rupee denominated domestics government debt is continuing to fall

It is been observed that foreign investment in government securities, mainly T-bills and T-bonds has been declining for the 4th consecutive week. At the recent peak, they had invested over USD 640Mn, which has now fallen to USD 495Mn. This reduction in USD term reflects rupee depreciation and real outflows.
