CBSL balance sheet improve further in June

Under the DDR/DDO, the government has proposed to restructure the T-Bill held by Central Bank. It is expected to restructure close to LKR 2.7 trillion Face value T-Bills without any haircut but reduce the interest rate. This will reverse the interest income accrued by CBSL from around 26% to 7% - 6% resulting in a loss for CBSL.

CBSL is yet to disclose the DDR/DDO impact on CBSL balance sheet.
