Net foreign holding of the Sri Lanka stocks shows signs of recovery after falling to the lowest in the last week

The net foreign holding of the domestically listed equities for 2023 has fallen continuously since mid of May for YTD. It hit a high of LKR 4.2Bn in mid of February and fell till mid of April and recovered to LKR 1.68Bn toward the end of May. It fell lowest of LKR 0.17Bn last week and recovered to LKR 0.41Bn today.

Sri Lanka’s equity market attracted LKR 30.645Bn last year after net foreign holding fell by LKR 52.6Bn in 2021.
