The monthly poll conducted by feedback.lk, revealed that the public expects USD /LKR would hold around 300 - 320 by the end of May while the capital market participants expect it to be depreciated to the range of 320 -340.

The expectation of large depreciation of LKR above 340 shows a reduction during the last three months. Also the public seems not to expect substantial appreciation beyond 300 also.
