CBSL was able to successfully raise LKR 85Bn at today’s primary auction while the cost of borrowing continued to decline for the government. The amount of bids received and the subscription at the auction got weakened during the last few auctions but it bounced back at today’s auction.

T-bill yields have fallen by 3.5% for 91 days, 3.8% for 182 days, and 2.9% for 364 days T-Bills from the peak that hit in November last year.
