CBSL was successful in raising funds for the government and to re-financed the existing domestic debts (T-Bills) during the recent past at the primary auctions. CBSL opened phase II and raised sufficient funds, but at the last two auctions, it has changed.

Where CBSL failed to raise target funds even after opening the primary auction for the second phase. The aggressiveness of phase II of the primary auction also has dried out especially in the last two auctions.
