Sri Lanka suspended the payments for selected external debts including ISBs, Bilateral loan commitments, which accounted for about 65% of the total FX debts of USD 46.6Bn. The short-term FX liabilities fell immediately after suspensions but it starts growing again.

Over USD 1.8Bn are in arrears for ISBs and some of the SLDBs that are not settled so far, and more on bilateral areas as well. Those need to settle once debt restructuring plan concluded.
