Hydroelectricity generation has fallen further in December, whereas coal dominated the generation of CEB electricity. Seasonally, the hydro contribution is expected to reduce in the next few months. Last year fuel was used for electricity generation in the same period.

If we are capable of using coal for electricity generation for the hydro-off season instead of fuel, the country would be able to reduce the cost of energy substantially, in turn, reduce the pressure on FX.
