Despite the lack of significant change in the fundamental economic condition, the market scenes some sort of easing in the monetary condition. This has resulted in a marginal decline in the primary market rate while CBSL managed to sell over LKR 5Bn from 364Days Bills after five weeks.

Still, CBSL is only able to raise more short-term (91Days) funding than longer term such as 364Days.
