The ASPI fell for the third consecutive trading day by 1.95% while turnover was marginally above LKR 2Bn higher than last week’s average daily turnover of LKR 1.6Bn. Average daily turnover is down to just LKR 2.3Bn so far in October, where it was LKR 4.3Bn in September. But foreign net inflows are growing at a healthy rate as it reached LKR 17.2Bn YTD vs LKR 52.6Bn last year.
