Sri Lanka’s fish trade surplus ( exports vs imports) hits over USD 150Mn for the second continuous year, 2022 before even completing the full year. Sri Lanka records USD 192Mn net export of fish in the full year of 2021 and in the first nine months of 2022, net export is USD 171Mn.

The exported quantity has increased by 2.3% First nine months of 2022 against the same period in 2021, while the imported quantity has fallen by 29.4%.
