Zambia authorities are intending to exclude the domestic debt restructuring - IMF Report

Domestic debt restructuring has been a wider topic in sovereign debt defaulted countries including Sri Lanka. IMF Executive Board approved the New Extended Credit Facility (ECF) for Zambia of USD 1.3Bn ( 5% of the GDP) for 38 months. Despite the creditor negotiation being yet to finish, Zambia authorities intend to exclude the domestic debt from restructuring.
