The T-bill rates at the primary market remained as same as last week as CBSL did not accept bids at higher rates to collect money. CBSL only accepted LKR 10.27 Bn out of which offered LKR 75Bn. The total market maturity that CBSL needs to settle on Friday is LKR 56.7Bn.

Even though the country is not expecting to print more money to finance the government expenditure as per the request from IMF, for the last few weeks CBSL has been printing money.
