Bank interest rates on deposits and loans are rising further

The new deposit rates of the commercial banks jumped from 16.89% to 17.17% in June while the new lending rates elevated further from 20.00% to 21.50% after T-Bill rates were allowed to move on.

Year on year basis the deposit rates have increased by 12% and lending rates have increased by 14%.
