Sri Lanka has been centre of the global discussions on many dimensions such as economic, political, etc. The way Sri Lanka spend on building infrastructures after the end of the civil war has been under criticism as the country was unable to prioritize the essential requirement.

Sri Lanka end the 30-year-long civil war on 2009 that spend billions of money, after 13 years, the country defaulted on the foreign debt payments which IMF and many other organizations take as an example of the mismanagement of resources.
