Public expect 5% rate hike tomorrow while market experts believe 3% to 4% rate hike

The results of the regular poll suggest that 33% of the respondents expect a 5% rate hike at CBSL's MPC tomorrow. But experts in the financial market believe it would be a 3% to 4% rate hike. Meantime rates went up by 4% at the primary auction today.

Currently, CBSL borrows overnight money from the market at 13.5% and lends to the market at 14.5%. But the T-Bill rate, where CBSL borrow 91Days to 364Days money at around 28%, which accounted massive mismatch.
