CBSL to implement several regulatory measures to improve the soundness of the banking sector
The Central Bank of Sri Lanka, considering the prevailing macroeconomic conditions and its impact on the banking sector, has decided to implement the following regulatory measures to support the banking sector. Minimum capital deadline to be delayed by one year and stagger the unrealized mark to market loss on LKR Bonds s until Q2 of 2024 are some of those.
