The state own enterprises continued to add more losses in 2021 as per the Annual Report of the MOF. The CPC accounted for LKR 82Bn loss in 2021, which generated LKR 2.3Bn profit in 2020. Meanwhile CEB accounted for LKR 21.4Bn loss in 2021 compared with LKR 60.5Bn in 2020. On top of these losses, Sri Lanka Air Lines Ltd has grounded with massive LKR 170.7Bn loss in 2021, compared with LKR 45Bn loss in 2020.
