Treasury Bills rates shoot significantly at the first auction after Governor resign

The treasury bill rates increased across all the maturities at primary auction today. 91Days T-Bill rate jumped to 14.12% from 12.92%, 182Days to 15.36% from 12.25%, 364Days to 15.69% from 12.28%. First time after February 2021, CBSL managed to sell over LKR 4Bn 364Days T-bill at the primary auction allowing better borrowing structure for CBSL.
