Sri Lanka stocks are in hard landing as ASPI and S&P SL 20 fell dramatically today
Uncertainty over social unrest after serious of economic policy collapse have forced many fundamentally strong stocks to under go value erosion. ASPI fell by 4.68% while S&P SL 20 fell below 10% but recovered before close to 6.61%. Short live CSE due to power crisis generated just LKR 1.2Bn turnovers as 116 stocks fell and 12 stock move up from previous day. Foreign investors were active as they were not sellers today but they have been net buyers of LKR 1.4Bn in March.
