ASPI fell by 4.47% while the S&P SL trigger circuit as it fell beyond 5% today. The turnover was LKR 4.2Bn slightly lower than the Feb daily average of LKR 5.2Bn. Interestingly there were only 12 positive counters while 224 counters drag the index down.

The market value fell by LKR 306Bn which also resulted in pulling down the market cap below LKR 5Trillon. But foreigners become net buyers of LKR 80Mn today while further decelerating the outflow trend that was observed for the last two years.
