Sri Lanka Rupee getting stronger specially since August and USD/LKR advanced from 185.65 to 183.05
Sri Lanka Rupee has gained momentum against the United States dollar. It was trading around 185.50 for the last three months again back to 183.00 today. CBSL has been a net buyer of the FX since May, the arrangement of currency swap USD 400mn with India, and the Repo Agreement of USD 1Bn with FED has given a better foot for LKR.
