The opinion poll conducted via twitter and LinkedIn revealed 40% of the public expect USD/LKR to be settled above 220 by end of October and 38% believe it will settle in between 200 to 210. But interestingly 52% of the respondents who are in the capital market believe it will settled in between 200 to 210. The majority of the respondents in both the segments expected USD/LKR to be above 220 by end of September, which in fact tough 230 during the month before CBSL was forced to fix it at 203.
