Sri Lanka ranked among the top 25 in the Global Service Location Index in 2021
Considering four main categories; financial attractiveness, people skills and availability, business environment, and the new digital resonance the GSLI is a tool to help companies understand and compare the factors that make countries attractive as potential locations for offshore services. Asian countries dominate the index in 2021, with seven rankings in the top 10. Sri Lanka shows high potential in financial attractiveness, while skill development requires further improvement. Overall, the Asia region is lagging in digital resonance, which is a key aspect of new-age business proliferation.
