Average daily deaths hit almost 50 per day with 67 deaths recorded on 9th June
Seven day average daily deaths have climbed to 49 on 9th June from 19 (12th May). Country reported 427 death in nine days on this months against 806 reported deaths in May. Meanwhile Sri Lanka has not been able to increase the number of daily PCR tests back to average of 25,000 that was seen in mid two weeks of May, but positive rate has holding at 15%.
