Moderna and Pfizer COVID vaccination full effectiveness starts after second dose
As per the company press release and research papers, it is learned the full effectiveness of the vaccination starts after the second dose. The vaccine will have over 90% effectiveness till 4 months for Pfizer and 6 months for Moderna. And they recommend a booster dose. Sri Lanka has fully vaccinated 24% of the population as of 7th and two weeks before it was 15.6%.
