COVID19 takes another 161 lives of Sri Lankans while authorities fail to release PCR tests data for last two days
COVID19 death total increased by another 161 yesterday while the number of people inward/waiting to admit is 35,886 as per the epidemiology department data. Meanwhile, the country is blank on the status of PCR tests carried out during the last two days as HBP has not been able to release the data. Case positive rate is the best way to assess the virus spread than the absolute number of cases because it is varies based on the PCR tests.
