Sri Lanka recorded highest daily COVID19 related deaths of 209 yesterday
COVID19 took another 209 lives of Sri Lankans yesterday as the delta variant continue to tighten the grip on Sri Lanka. The government imposed 10 days lockdown as many experts request to contain the spreading of the virus. The daily average number of PCR tests carried out in August has been only 17,500 despite the case positive rate of close to 25%.
