Sri Lanka implemented country-wise lockdown for more than one month and continue to have a couple of stringency measurements after the daily case load fell below 900. The said threshold allowed inbound tourism for the coming season, which is desperate by the country. But for the last few weeks, the COVID positive rate has not fallen below 6%, which required vigilant attention.
