The primary estimate of the voter turnover in the 2020 Parliamentary election recorded as 71% on average while it was 78% in the 2019 Presidential election, but the final voter turnover was 82%. The primary estimate of the voter turnover in Gampaha was 82% in the 2019 Presidential election but it has been 69% in the 2020 Parliamentary election as per the Election commissioner.
