Professional turned Politician is back in the hot seat

After resigning from his position as a parliamentarian Mr. A. Nivard Cabral the state Minister of Finance, Capital Markets and State Enterprise Reforms, is expected to take the Governor's position in Sri Lanka Central Bank. His previous tenor, July 2006 to Jan 2015 was particularly a time of severe economic turbulence where he had to manage the monetary policy and bring back the stability.
