Ebola was the worse out of major viruses that have killed more 13,500 people. This coronavirus is not as deadly as SARS, though the two belong to the same family. It threatens people with weakened immune systems. There are more than 50 confirmed cases in 13 places outside of mainland China, including at least five in the United States. Ivory Coast tests the first person in Africa for coronavirus. Chinese women in Sri Lanka test positive for the virus.
