Record Dengue cases in January highest for the decade in Sri Lanka
The number of dengue cases in January was 11,596, which is highest for this decade. Dengue breakout in 2017 which hit a record high of 186,101 cases during the year. There were 10,927 cases were recorded in the month of January. A higher number of cases recorded in February compared with year-earlier can be observed as per the preliminary data for months of February.
