Sri Lanka to deploy hi-tech system to monitor coronavirus patients
Sri Lanka restricted flights from more countries, tightened quarantine as total confirmed cases jumped up to 19, but the majority came from Italy and they have been at the quarantine centre at Kandakadu. Suspect cases are raised to 212 from 133 as at 10 AM today the 16-03-2020. Total confirmed cases worldwide now stand at 169,864 and death 6,515 and recovered 77,753 spreading over 158 countries. As per CNA, New York City, Los Angeles mayors order restaurants, bars, theatres closed for coronavirus.
