The number of confirmed cases in Sri Lanka at different stages after recording the 1st case, 10th case, and 25th case indicates the country has progressed well compared with some of the countries. The pattern of spreading COVID-19 has not unique. Some countries have experienced higher R(0) or the average number of people infected from one other person while others were not observed at the preliminary stage but experienced it later with the second wave. Singapore is a country which is far batter than Sri Lanka after recording the 25th case but the number of cases accelerated later.
