Sri Lanka Government plans to produce 50 percent of the pharmaceuticals requirement locally
It was revealed that 85% of the country’s drug requirement is met through imports. The new Government is planning to produce at least 50% of the country’s requirements of pharmaceuticals locally within the next three years. At the same time, the country has imported over LKR 100Bn or (USD 595 Mn) Plastics in both Primary and non-primary Forms.
