Sri Lanka impose social distance restrictions after COVID patient found in Divulapitiya
Sri Lanka announced immediate social distance measures by closing schools islandwide, several higher education institutes also close in Gampaha district after a coronavirus patient was found from the community. A quarantine curfew is now imposed on the Minuwangoda and Divulapitiya Police areas. Sri Lanka has not experienced a wider community spread of COVID as other countries and one of the most successful cases in the globe. That allows us to relax the social distance to a greater extent compared to other countries.
