Sri Lanka is currently experiencing a higher number of positive cases daily basis compared with its history during the 2nd wave. The seven-day moving average of positive cases and the positive rate has reached closer to absolute daily numbers. Speaking during a talk show on Ada Derana, Acting Deputy Director-General of Public Health Service Dr. Susi Perera admitted that the Health Ministry is relying on data that is 03-days old.
