Land prices within Colombo City is recovering from one year long drought
The LankaPropertyWeb complied Property Price index suggests a positive growth of the residential land prices within Colombo City in 2Q 2020. The growth of the prices was in the negative territory for the last four quarters. The index shows price growth started declining since 2017 substantially. But the western province and all-island residential land prices also indicate low growth for the last four quarters. The real estate subcategory in GDP also have grown 4.2% in 2Q 2020, while construction fell by 16%
