Sri Lanka Construction sector back on growth territory in 4Q 2020
Sri Lanka's construction sector was hit badly by COVID19 in 2Q with a 30% contraction. The industry recovered in 3Q but was down by 9%. In 4Q construction recovered and has recorded 1.2% growth. Meanwhile, the real estate which recovered faster phase than construction has recorded 3.6% growth in 4Q up from 3.4% in 3Q.
