Sri Lanka annual tourism income 2019 is going to be short by 20 percent from last year
The estimated tourist income is USD 3,138 Mn for eleven-month of 2019 which is 20% down from income received in the same period last year. Total inflow from tourism was USD 4,380 Mn in 2018. Tourist arrival fell by 70% in May just after the Easter attack. But it recovered in recent months. Arrivals were only fell by 9.5% in November compared with last year's November. Many international Magazines and Global Travels and Tourism promoters have recognized and recommend Sri Lanka as one of the best destination to visit.
