Government to re-introduce conditional repatriation while Tourist flights to be allowed from December 26
Sri Lanka welcome foreign tourists into the country from December 26 subject to strict COVID testing and quarantine conditions, on pre-arranged visas. Historical data suggest, the average stay by foreigner in Sri Lanka has been 10days, but 8 to 14 days category accounted for 35% of the total tourist arrivals. Further, 21% of the tourists spend more than 14days in Sri Lanka.
