Sri Lanka has removed many COVID-19 restrictions on travellers, even before examining the aftermath of the remove of lockdown on 1st October. The Country encourages fully vaccinated tourists without on arrival PCR test (subject to negative PCR test result within 72 hours of departure) and are free to move across the country the way they did before the pandemic. Tourism accounted for USD 4Bn foreign currency inflow and 10% of the GDP.
