Sri Lanka back to Power - Cuts , this time due to financial crisis at CEB
Sri Lanka faced power cuts from 18 March to 10 April 2019 caused by a severe drought that depleted water levels at hydroelectric plants. This time, it is due to the suspension of fuel supplies to the Kerawalapitiya power plant by Ceylon Petroleum Corporation as the credit limit has been exceeded by CEB.
