Sri Lanka stocks end the year 2020 with double digit return
Sri Lanka ASPI stock index end the year 2020 with double digit return (10.50%). Index plunged by 30% just after exchange re-open for trading in May (May 12 - 4247.95) after COVID hit the country. Since then, the index has apricated 59%, the highest among the Asian region. MSCI Frontier Market return for the year was only 1%, MSCI Emerging Market return for the year was 15.5%.
